An Estimated 20 Million Are without a Christian Witness in Nigeria

Various nomadic people populate Nigeria. They typically live as cattle and goat herders, although sometimes also as fishermen or farmers. The largest group are the Fulani who live in a large swath of West Africa. At an estimated 50 million worldwide, and 20 million in Nigeria alone, the Fulani are the largest nomadic people group in the world.

It is estimated that less than one percent of Fulani in Nigeria are believers. Learn more about SIM Nigeria’s ministries to the Fulani in the links at right (or below).
